Evangelist Jacqueline Gathers

is a powerful vessel filled with the beauty, grace, and presence of the Lord. In 2008, she was called, chosen, and anointed by God to minister love, hope, and restoration to people from all walks of life. Through her faithful obedience, countless lives have been transformed and souls redeemed for the Kingdom of God.

An Ordained Minister, actress, playwright, poet, lyricist, and creative visionary, Jacqueline is the Founder, and Chairperson of Cista Lueeeze’s Brunch House Theatre, Inc.

Through this anointed and dynamic ministry, she writes, directs, produces, and stars in inspirational comedy stage plays that bring laughter, healing, and truth to the hearts of audiences.

Since 2017, she has written and published five stage plays: Bullies in Da Churrrssshhh, The Life of the Funeral, My Beauty-Tician’s Chair, When God Is in the Building – Part 1, and When God Is in the Building – Part 2. To date, the theatre has presented nineteen sold-out productions and has entertained communities throughout North Carolina, Louisiana, and South Carolina through her beloved alter ego, Cista Lueeeze.

Beyond the theatre ministry, Evangelist Gathers has served in multiple outreach initiatives, including hosting a gospel radio talk show, leading Boot Camp International youth empowerment camps, facilitating the Phenomenal Women of Purpose conferences, and founding the Sweet Honesty Prophetic Praise Dance Ministry. Each outreach is divinely purposed to empower, inspire, and transform lives through the truth of God’s Word.

Jacqueline received her business education from Erie Community College and the University of Buffalo in Buffalo, New York. She obtained her Christian education from Safe Haven Interdenominational Bible School in Zebulon, North Carolina; Western Assembly Bible Institute in Newton Grove, North Carolina; and Heritage Bible College in Dunn, North Carolina.

After retiring from Wells Fargo Bank in 2021, she launched Inspirational You Beauty Box, a thriving beauty supply retail business that remains in full operation.

She is a proud U.S. Air Force Veteran and currently serves as an Associate Minister at The Watering Hole Church in Smithfield, North Carolina, under the leadership of Apostle Terrence Thompson and Pastor Denise Thompson.

Evangelist Gathers firmly believes that the doors God opens, no man can shut. Her life and ministry are summed up in her powerful declaration:

In her ministry that brings healing, hope, and holy laughter, Cista Lueeeze beautifully embodies Proverbs 17:22 — “A cheerful heart is good medicine.”

As a Christian Comedienne, Cista Lueeeze’s divine mission is to uplift and inspire audiences through comedy rooted in Biblical truth and real-life experiences. Her practical, relatable approach ignites smiles, restores joy, and creates an atmosphere where laughter becomes a doorway to healing.

She passionately believes that many people are falling away from God because they feel defined by their mistakes. Through laughter, encouragement, and the love of Christ, she aims to tear down the walls of doubt, isolation, insecurity, and hopelessness — replacing them with faith, freedom, restored joy and renewed confidence.

Her goal is to BOLDLY share the Gospel of Jesus Christ in a comedic yet powerful way, declaring the goodness of God’s love, grace, and mercy.
